Special Workshop For Moms With Young Children

I WANT IN!

It’s Possible to Grow Your Business and Enjoy This Stage of Life as a Mom

As a mother with young kids, you already know that the challenges you face as a business owner are different.

But when you woke up this morning and your 3 year old had a fever and a cough, you felt it. You don’t think it’s serious, but with COVID fears everywhere you know you’ll have to cancel the sitter.

Your spouse has an important meeting they can’t miss, so that means unless your mom can come over and watch the kids – you. are. stuck.

You can feel the stress, anger and panic start to well up as you think about everything you had planned for today. You definitely won’t fit that workout in you promised yourself last night.

You take a deep breath and remind yourself that you agreed to this (but can’t help to hear that little voice asking, “But did I? Did I agree to all the suffering?”)

You feel like throwing it all in because unlike the moms you see on social media, you feel like you’re failing at this work-life-mom balance thing.

“Where is this magical instruction manual to show you how to manage it all?”

You breathe a brief sigh of relief when your mom agrees to watch the kids for a couple of hours, but you know today will be one of those days where you fit work in between naps, Peppa Pig and when they finally go down at 7 tonight.

You tell yourself it will get better next year when they’re both in pre-school, but will it?  Yes. Yes, it has to because YOU have big things to accomplish in this world.

“Since I first got pregnant 4 years ago, I wondered what it would be like to be a working mom. Would I find childcare? Would I adjust my business and try to work with kids at home? Along came Baby #1 and I realized I had no desire to do kids and work at the same time. Even though I knew in my heart that I wanted full-time childcare, I couldn’t get over the guilt.

I felt like a terrible mother for “choosing” work over my baby. For liking work more than I liked tummy time. So I didn’t get the childcare. I tried to be both. And I was miserable. Then came Baby #2 and COVID. And the misery tripled. The guilt I felt was crushing, but not as crushing as my reality that I was simply not happy as a stay at home mom, fitting in the work in the margins.

Then, Praise Be, LINDA. She helped me see that my guilt was fabricated, self-induced, and completely detrimental to my happiness. Guilt only comes from comparison and assumptions about what is “good.” I get to choose what is good or bad, constructive or damaging. And I now choose to run a successful business during the work day and be a better mom to my kids in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. And I don’t feel guilty about it because that’s what works for me.”

Solving the Problem of Growing A Thriving Business While Raising Young Children . . . In a New Way!

Did you know that moms make up one of the top growing groups of entrepreneurs – especially since the pandemic?

It’s true – more moms are choosing business ownership as a way to maintain flexibility (the highest currency for any mom), personal satisfaction and financial stability.

And while being your own boss sounds inviting, the reality is mom entrepreneurs face more stress and worry than their counterparts who choose to be household CEO or who work for a corporate entity.

Being a mom and a business owner isn’t always what you imagined.

And neither are some of the solutions others have suggested you try. You block time to work, you take on less than you did before, you hire help at home and in your business – but still you feel like you’re always behind

The more you do to find the time to do both mom and work, the more it feels like the world is stacked against you.

—> You want to be a good mom, but you’re either looking at your phone or getting irritated by your kids’ constant needs.

—> You want your business to grow, but there’s never enough time to work in your business and on your business.

—> You love your kids, but if you’re being honest – there are days that you’d rather hide out in your office and focus on you.

All this leaves you wondering, what more do you have to do to get the freedom and flexibility to work the way you want?

What if the answer to your problems didn’t involve doing anything, but simply shift the way you approach the problem?

Coach Linda Perry

Hi, I’m Linda Perry!

Recovering Trial AttorneyBusiness Strategist, Master Mindset Coach . . . And Mom

Although I’m no longer a mom of young kids, the feelings of overwhelm, exhaustion, isolation and resentment feel all too recent.

Even though I was raised by a professional working mom, when it came to having children and a business I never felt like I was going to achieve what I wanted on either front.

Like you, I thought if I could simply put the pieces in place everything would flow. But life has a funny way of throwing obstacles to show you how little control you really have of your outer world.

In fact, it wasn’t until I learned to let go a little and change what was going inside my head (with a little help from a coach) that I could finally start to feel good about how I was showing up in both my business and as a mom.

Look, the hardest thing about being a mom of young kids is that your ambition didn’t really get the message that your life can’t meet your initial expectations. I know mine didn’t. . . .which left me feeling stretched, tired and like a fraud.

But once I found out that my “perfect balance” didn’t require me to do anything more than I already was – there was this relief and I could finally start to see obvious solutions to my real-life problems.

Everything I’m sharing with you in this workshop is a result of the mistakes and lessons I’ve learned that can help you build the ease and flexibility you’re looking for!

I can’t wait to show you the way.

How To Build The Business You Want As a Mom With Young Kids

YOU MISSED THE LIVE WORKSHOP, BUT CAN STILL GET THE REPLAY!

Find balance, satisfaction and business growth without feeling overwhelmed, guilty and exhausted on a daily basis.

Up until now, you’ve been told the solution to your struggles as a mom and a business owner is to set boundaries around your time, say no and get better help.

But all that’s done is leave you building flimsy bridges between each new “disaster”.

During this two hour workshop (yes, I know I’m asking you to commit time), I’ll show you how your core beliefs have likely been the culprit behind much of your dissatisfaction. I’ll show you how to actually fall into a flow that allows you to be more present, unlock greater solutions and build the momentum you desire – without having to do more!

If you’re ready to feel happier and enjoy this phase of life and business, I encourage you to make this one simple choice! And . . . if the sitter fails, I promise I’ll send you a replay.

“The most important thing about working with Linda is she makes you see, no, makes you feel that it’s OK to be a mom and run a business. It’s OK to say no to puzzles for a work call. It’s OK to reschedule a work call in favor of puzzles. It’s OK to start NOW even though everyone’s sick and you haven’t slept in three weeks. It’s OK to design a business 100% around naps.
Pursuing your dreams is hard. Being a mom is hard. And they’re both even harder when you think the only solution is to work longer hours. It’s way easier to get through the hard things when you have Linda by your side.”

Everything You Want Begins With This One Commitment!

Sometimes we think that we have to commit to a whole plan of action before we commit.

But when we do, we usually take no action at all – because we think about the time it will take.

The truth is that one simple act of self care can lead to big leaps in confidence, joy and freedom (and it’s certainly better than doing nothing).

I want you to consider this workshop your one simple act of self care that gets the snowball rolling. I know that it can feel like you simply have to wait for things to change until some magical moment – but you deserve to claim what you desire now.

Just because you became a mom doesn’t mean you’re not entitled to your dreams.

Let me help you reignite your dreams with this one-time workshop just for you.

I hope you’ll join me!
